This site is my personal lab for combining product thinking, AI, and storytelling. After 11+ years leading cloud, ML, and IoT platforms at Amazon and Fortune 500 companies, I moved to Northern California to be closer to family—and to build what I’m curious about.
Here I experiment with AI‑powered travel tools, prototypes, and content while documenting life on the road, side businesses, and the journey from product leader to private pilot.

I’m focused on applying AI and platforms to real-world operations—at work, in side businesses, and in aviation.
🚙 Took our Airstream across the West Coast—Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Utah—while I wrapped up my role leading ML and platform products at Amazon Global Logistics.
🐶 Adopted Hera, a high‑energy Border Collie who now joins most trips.
🏋️ Stayed healthy and grounded despite a lot of change, splitting time between travel, family, and side projects.
Launched two trading businesses—Faubourg Trading (home décor) and Silva Trading Co (plant‑based filtration products)—testing branding, operations, and e‑commerce from the ground up.
Earned my Private Pilot License and started flying regularly out of Northern California, adding a pilot’s perspective to how I think about risk, systems, and checklists.
Continued to build AI and data skills and began volunteering at Sierra Nevada Hospital’s Cancer Center.
