This site is my personal lab for combining product thinking, AI, and storytelling. After 11+ years leading cloud, ML, and IoT platforms at Amazon and Fortune 500 companies, I moved to Northern California to be closer to family—and to build what I’m curious about.

Here I prototype with advanced AI tooling like Cursor and large‑language‑model platforms, and turn those experiments into concrete travel tools, workflows, and stories.

What I'm building next

I’m focused on applying AI and platforms to real-world operations—at work, in side businesses, and in aviation—with a bias toward shipping practical features built on modern AI stacks.

A few highlights

In 2024, my family and I...

🚙 Took our Airstream across the West Coast—Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Utah—while I wrapped up my role leading ML and platform products at Amazon Global Logistics.

🐶 Adopted Hera, a high‑energy Border Collie who now joins most trips.

🏋️ Stayed healthy and grounded despite a lot of change, splitting time between travel, family, and side projects.

In 2025, I...

Launched two trading businesses—Faubourg Trading (home décor) and Silva Trading Co (plant‑based filtration products)—testing branding, operations, and e‑commerce from the ground up.

Earned my Private Pilot License and started flying regularly out of Northern California, adding a pilot’s perspective to how I think about risk, systems, and checklists.

Continued to deepen my AI and data skills, experimenting with state‑of‑the‑art tools, and began volunteering at Sierra Nevada Hospital’s Cancer Center.

In 2026, TBD.

I’ll keep this space updated as new experiments in AI, aviation, and side businesses take shape.
